F.A.Q.
What exactly is a hostel?
A hostel is similar to what we understand as a youth hostel, but with notable differences which make the this kind of accommodation a much more attractive and comfortable offer than a conventional youth hostel. The hostel is characterized by an urban location, having a great part of shared rooms and communal areas where you can meet other fellow travelers and share the experiences of your journey. At Revolutum Hostel you will find a chill-out cafeteria, a multi-purpose room, a communal fully equipped kitchen and a nice patio. Our rooms are single, double, triple, quadruple, quintuple and sextuple; all of them with their own en-suite bathroom.
Is the hostel really only 40 meters from Plaza Mayor?
Yes, it is that close and centric. Just half a minute away. We are also about 100 meters away from the Cathedral and surrounded by most recommended restaurants and the best bars of the historical center.
What communal areas does Revolutum Hostel have?
At Revolutum Hostel you can use and enjoy our communal fully equipped kitchen, a big dining room with WIFI access and a beautiful patio where you can meet your fellow travelers, chat, drink and play a few games, among other things.
Is breakfast included?
Yes, it is. Our daily breakfast buffet is completely free, courtesy of Revolutum Hostel, and available from 8:30 am to 11am.
I will need internet during my stay. Do I have to carry my laptop or are there computers available?
You can use free Wi-Fi in all our hostel’s facilities: in the rooms, communal areas as well as in the bar. If you didn’t bring your computer, you are welcome to use the laptop that we offer for guest’s use.
I wouldn’t like to spend money on restaurants. Do you have any suggestions?
Don’t worry about that. At Revolutum Hostel you can use our well-fitted kitchen and it is completely free. This way you will save money and enjoy your own cooking.
Should I take a sleeping bag with me?
Out of the question! Our rooms are equipped with sheets, pillows and blankets. You only have to ask for towels at reception and leave a refundable 5 Euros deposit.
Are there any internal house rules at Revolutum Hostel I should know previously?
The Ministry of Tourism requires having some coexistence rules publicly posted. They are set down on our check-in form that you must sign when arriving to the hostel. There are ten rules that can be summarized in: absolute respect towards the hostel’s guests and facilities.
Do you offer laundry service?
Yes, we do. We can wash and dry your clothes in our private laundry for 6 or 8 euros per washing.
